What is the Teacher Training Program?

Join our Teacher Training Program! If you have real-world experience in the beauty industry but want to train a new generation, then becoming a teacher could be a great option for you. Our program is designed to help you translate the skills you already know into teaching. Being able to work in the beauty world as a teacher provides you with the opportunity to help emerging beauty artists make their mark in the industry.

Not all schools require their teachers to have a license. Queen Beauty Institute strives to raise the standard in the industry, which is where our Teacher Training Program comes in. We take pride in this program and want all beauty professionals to succeed in the beauty industry.

What to expect in our Teacher Training Program

Our Teacher Training Program focuses on teaching future teachers the fundamentals. One of the advantages of our school is that the teachers’ program also allows the student teachers to refresh and be updated on the topics that they need and want. From creating a lesson plan to different teaching techniques, our goal is to make sure you succeed in your future teaching career. Any future beauty professionals’ success relies on their instructors, so we put emphasis in this program to ensure our future graduates are well equipped. We include practical assignments like lecturing students, public speaking, and being put on the spot. By the end of this program, we hope you have all the knowledge needed to make a difference in the lives of future beauty professionals.

Our Teacher Training Program is a 500 hour course, and can be completed in as little as 6 months. You’ll spend 25 hours developing professional skills and the other 475 hours will be spent in the classroom learning teaching techniques. Here are a list of skills you can learn:

• Teaching Techniques for Cosmetology, Esthetics, Manicuring, and Hair Braiding

If you’re ready to apply, make sure you meet these requirements:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Complete the student application
• Complete the enrollment contract and pay the registration fee of $250
• Provide a copy of your state/federal issued identification
• Provide a copy of your high school diploma, GED, or home school diploma by the US Department of Education
