...I’m proud to say this is the school that I attended to get to where I want to be in my career. Not only is it so hands-on but the knowledge they share on nail products and the state laws, they make sure that you get to learn them and learn the difference from how people may do it in the streets of Pennsylvania and CLEARLY show their students the right way to become a successful nail technician. I am so appreciative of this school. Queen Beauty Institute, thanks so much for helping me on beginning my journey and all the pointers I needed to start my own nail business. It’s truly appreciated!
Please do not hesitate to enroll into QBI. I literally started my nail tech journey here. I did not have any prior experience. Not only did I learn the fundamentals of the nail. I was able to strengthen my communication skills. I was able to broaden my vision. In addition, I’ve gained priceless connections with wonderful people.
Queen Beauty Institute is the absolute best! I attended the January 2022 nail technology class and my experience was amazing from the very beginning. The teachers are amazingly knowledgeable, kind, patient, & they all care about the success of their students not only while in school but after that as well! The school is very family oriented & that made it so easy to get along with the staff, teachers & classmates…
Our nail technology program is split into three main sections: professional practices, sciences, and nail treatments / pedicuring. Around 25 hours are spent on professional practices, which include salon safety, sanitation and disinfection, and Pennsylvania state law.
Students then spend 75 hours learning about sciences related to nail technology. This section of the curriculum is very important as it covers anatomy, physiology, product chemistry, and more. We hope that our students feel prepared for more than just the creation of a gorgeous style, as there’s a crucial foundation in knowing which products to use and more.
After finishing the science portion, 100 hours are dedicated to nail treatments and pedicuring, which is the majority of the program. Acrylic nails, dipping powders, and gel builders are just a few of the exciting subjects covered in this part of the course. This is when students can really let their creativity and talents shine, using what they learn to create gorgeous nail art!
Part of what makes our school unique is our incredible staff. They’re committed to educating on a professional level, so they’re invested in each student’s success. By encouraging students to learn and grow, they contribute to the supportive, motivating, and fun atmosphere of our school.
We keep our class sizes small, which means our instructors are able to give students personal attention. The constructive feedback and guidance our instructors provide students can help them master beauty skills faster than they would otherwise.
