If you love creating nail art, you should consider taking our nail technology program! The program covers a wide range of beauty techniques, such as applying gel polish, acrylic nails, and much more.
You know that boost of confidence you experience when you have your nails done? You have the power to make others feel that way by applying the beauty skills covered in our nail technology program!
Our nail technology program is split into three main sections: professional practices, sciences, and nail treatments / pedicuring. Around 25 hours are spent on professional practices, which include salon safety, sanitation and disinfection, and Pennsylvania state law.
Students then spend 75 hours learning about sciences related to nail technology. This section of the curriculum is very important as it covers anatomy, physiology, product chemistry, and more. We hope that our students feel prepared for more than just the creation of a gorgeous style, as there’s a crucial foundation in knowing which products to use and more.
After finishing the science portion, 100 hours are dedicated to nail treatments and pedicuring, which is the majority of the program. Acrylic nails, dipping powders, and gel builders are just a few of the exciting subjects covered in this part of the course. This is when students can really let their creativity and talents shine, using what they learn to create gorgeous nail art!
Part of what makes our school unique is our incredible staff. They’re committed to educating on a professional level, so they’re invested in each student’s success. By encouraging students to learn and grow, they contribute to the supportive, motivating, and fun atmosphere of our school.
We keep our class sizes small, which means our instructors are able to give students personal attention. The constructive feedback and guidance our instructors provide students can help them master beauty skills faster than they would otherwise.
