How many people out here swear by this disinfectant, BLEACH?!

Bleach is not a magic potion!

All disinfectants, including bleach, are inactivated (made less effective) in the presence of many substances, including oils, lotions, creams, hair, and skin. If bleach is used to disinfect equipment, it is critical to use a soap detergent first to thoroughly clean and rinse the equipment and remove all debris. Never mix detergents with bleach and always use bleach in a well-ventilated area.
Additionally, not all household bleaches are as effective as disinfectants. To be effective, the bleach must have an EPA registration number and contain at least 5 percent sodium hypochlorite and be diluted properly to a 10 percent solution—nine parts water to one part bleach. -Milady

To add to this . . FABULOSO is NOT a disinfectant and it should NOT be mixed with anything else besides water! So if you are not using products according to the label you are wasting your time and money. It is no longer effective to kill any types of bacteria if mixed incorrectly.

Paraffin is a petroleum byproduct of oil purification process and often comes in colorless solid wax type substance. It comes in liquid form as mineral oils which are used in beauty creams and lotions, while paraffin wax is used in beauty salons and spa treatments for manicures, pedicures and cuticle care. Another great thing about paraffin is that it can be used for several medical purposes, it helps in increasing blood flow and improving joint stiffness. The wax is a natural emollient, helping make skin supple and soft. When applied to the skin, it adds moisture and continues to boost the moisture levels of the skin after the treatment is complete.

It can also help open pores and remove dead skin cells. That may help make the skin look fresher and feel smoother.

Yes, you can operate the salon out of your home as long as you have submitted an application and applicable fees and you have received a license to operate.

The salon must also:

Be separated from the living quarters by a permanent wall; the zoning must be commercial
Have a separate entrance to the salon other than through the living quarters;
Have toilet and lavatory facilities that are separate from those used by the household;
Meet all other minimum salon requirements.
