Do you enjoy doing your makeup and keeping up with the latest skincare trends? Are you always looking to improve your own skincare routine? If so, starting your esthetics education could be a rewarding path for you. Estheticians pamper clients by providing services such as spa facials, lash lifts, brow tinting, waxing, makeup application, and more. If you’re interested in learning these types of techniques, enrolling in the esthetics program at Queen Beauty Institute is a great place to start.
As part of an esthetics education at Queen Beauty Institute, you can learn a wide range of skincare best practices and science. Our curriculum has five main sections: professional practices, sciences, facial treatment, temporary hair removal, and makeup. Professional practices cover essential information such as salon safety, sanitation and disinfection, and professional image.
In the sciences segment, students get the chance to learn sciences that relate to skincare, including chemistry and product ingredients.
Facial treatment includes a wide range of fun and useful beauty techniques. Advanced facials, lash tinting, and brow lamination are just a handful of skills covered in this section of the program.
The makeup section of the course really allows students to express their creativity. In addition to all the subjects mentioned above, students get the opportunity to watch sugaring and ear candling demonstrations.
Here at Queen Beauty Institute, we put a lot of emphasis on practical knowledge. That’s why we offer our students a significant amount of hands-on training, both in the classroom and in our student salon. We also require our students to pass a final practical exam (and a final theory exam) before graduating.
We strive to emulate the experience of working in the beauty industry so our students are prepared for life after graduation. We want each of our students to finish beauty school feeling confident and ready for their new future.
Take Control of Your FutureSee Our School
Starting your esthetics education can open up many possibilities for your future. However, it’s important to follow a few important steps before seeking employment as an esthetician. First, you need to successfully graduate from beauty school. After that, you must sit for the state board exam to earn your license.
Once you’re officially a licensed esthetician, you can start looking for many different job opportunities. Becoming a makeup artist, eyelash specialist, or a medical esthetician are just a few of the exciting possibilities you can pursue. While we cannot guarantee employment, Queen Beauty Institute provides career placement assistance to help students transition smoothly from beauty school to the workforce, so we recommend taking advantage of that!
